YOUTH COURT
Young persons under the age of 18 are usually dealt with in the Youth Court, a branch of the MagistratesCourt.
The youth court is more informal that the adult court but appearances can be deceptive. The youth court has greater sentencing powers than the magistrates court so it is important to obtain advice and be represented.
As soon as we are instructed to act we will make the necessary applications for legal aid, advise you on the evidence and represent you at all of the hearings. When possible, each solicitor will try and deal with their own cases all the way through so that you have continuity and seamless representation.
