Blaser Mills merges with Fancy & Jackson

Blaser Mills are delighted to announce a merger with Staines based firm Fancy & Jackson.

Fancy & Jackson have been established in the Staines area for over 40 years and are respected for their work in personal injury, conveyancing, private client, commercial, and litigation work.

The merger, which took effect on 1st December, affords Blaser Mills the opportunity to expand into a new geographical area, Staines being a growing town with a large number of businesses of all sizes.

Tony Jackson, Fancy & Jackson’s Senior Partner, joins Blaser Mills as a Consultant, while two other partners, Julian Monk and Thomas Wou, join Blaser Mills’ Personal Injury and Litigation teams respectively. Lesley Almond also joins the Family department while Nisha Laxman joins Wills & Probate.

The firm will continue to be called Blaser Mills. The “new” Staines office, which will be managed by partner Dave Matthews, will be known as “Blaser Mills Incorporating Fancy and Jackson”.

Steve Bennett, Blaser Mills’ Senior and Managing Partner who has led the merger negotiations, says that he believes that there is a natural fit between the two businesses with very many shared views on the shape of legal practice in the future.

“Fancy & Jackson already subscribes to many of the ideals that have proved essential to Blaser Mills’ success and so there is little doubt that the combined business will prove to be effective. Blaser Mills are always keen to talk to like minded Firms about merger possibilities and I am very pleased that we have managed to bring about this important advance into the Heathrow and Surrey areas.”
