Tanya Jamal circleTANYA JAMAL

Tanya is an associate solicitor with the Family department. She qualified in 2001 and joined Blaser Mills in 2004 after working for a time with K E Davies & Co in Hayes.

She is based at the firms Harrow office.

Tanya specialises in all aspects of family and matrimonial law, specifically:

Divorce -defended and undefended, separation and nullity.

Private law children matters including contact, residence, prohibited steps, specific issue orders. Matters pertaining to parental responsibility. Tanya specialises in the removal of children abroad and has conducted numerous cases in the RCJ and Principal Registry. She acts for clients who live in Canada, USA and Dubai as well as the UK.

Financial aspects to the breakdown of the marriage - Low, middle income and high net worth cases.

Domestic violence.

Co-habitees.

Tanya undertakes both privately paid and legally aided work.

Intellectual Property protection

Tanya is a member of the Association of Women Solicitors. She also undertakes community-based mediation on a voluntary basis; particularly in relation to matrimonial and children matters.

In her spare time Tanya enjoys films, music, travel and tennis.
