It was a ‘bright spark’ who came up with the idea of having a Bright Spark competition, given the fabulous response which the competition generated.
The competition involved coming up with an idea, no matter how big or small, which it was felt would have a positive impact on the firm. There ended up being over 45 entries with some really excellent ideas submitted — as well as a few wacky ones too!
After the competition closed, our crack team of judges cast their votes. The voting was tight as a result of the sheer number of ideas put forward.
However, the winner of the Blaser Mills Bright Spark competition has been announced and is (drum roll, please) our Senior Associate solicitor Anna Ferro, for her idea of developing a Blaser Mills mobile ‘phone application.
Anna is a member of the Family and Divorce Team based at our High Wycombe office in Buckinghamshire. Anna says that, with the reliance on mobile ‘phones that we all seem to have these days, and the ease with which we expect to access information and be able to communicate as a result of that information, an App will be of great benefit and assistance to our clients, and so this shone out to her as a bright-spark idea. Indeed, the new Blaser Mills mobile ‘phone App is to roll out over the coming months. Well done to Anna, and well done also to Nita Shah (a Paralegal at our Harrow office) and to Shelley Bowles, both of whom were awarded joint second place for their bright spark ideas.
Do watch this space, as more will be announced soon.
