Trainee Ben Henderson, who has been playing for Rams RFC for 5 seasons, took part in a record breaking year for himself and Rams RFC.

The Rams ended the season winning the National 2 South league by 18 points and have been automatically promoted to National League 1, putting them in the third tier of English rugby and therefore one of the top 40 clubs in England.

In addition, Ben finished the season 3rd in the league for top try scorers, picking up an impressive tally of 21 tries across 30 fixtures!

Other awards won include 2 x Dream team of the year selections, Rams Player’s player of the season and Rams top try scorer of the year.

Speaking on the record breaking season Ben said “it was a great way to end the season both for myself and the team. It is a very long season and you often don’t get a chance to appreciate it. Thank you to everyone at the firm for not making too many comments about my bumps and bruises on a Monday morning.”
