Aaron Wood, Trade Mark Attorney in our Intellectual Property team, has been named as a ‘Trade Mark Star’ for the second year in a row by MIP IP STARS, the leading resource for companies or individuals looking for experienced legal practitioners for IP advice.
Aaron has more than 20 years of experience in advising businesses on the protection and commercialisation of their brands, designs and other IP assets. He has acted for the likes of clothing company Superdry and several professional athletes, as well as Premier League football clubs, Manchester United and Chelsea FC.
IP STARS ranks individuals who are highly regarded by their peers and clients, or those that are integral to their firm’s success or reputation. The research for the rankings covers a variety of IP practice areas and more than 70 jurisdictions, making it the most comprehensive and widely respected IP guide in the legal profession.
Aaron said: “It’s great to have been recognised for a second year in a row. It is testament to the quality of the work we are being asked to do for top clients and, with the team having grown in recent months, I’d hope this will be consolidated next year with an even stronger result”.
Alka Kharbanda, partner and chief operating officer, added: “We are very proud of Aaron for holding this title for the second consecutive year, a great way of recognising his excellent work and dedication. Aaron has been involved in many cases setting precedents in the field of IP, and that is likely to continue in the years ahead.”
