Child Care » Legal Aid

Regardless of the circumstances of your case and financial circumstances, Legal Aid is available for legal advice and representation if a local authority has sought care proceedings and/or pre-proceedings meetings in accordance with the Public Law Outline, providing you have parental responsibility for the child involved.

Our Child Care team can apply for this non-means-tested Legal Aid funding on your behalf, taking the stress out of the process and ensuring that you can be represented by the best Child Care lawyers without having to worry about legal fees.

Legal Aid can also be sought on a means-tested basis for other types of proceedings, and our team can provide you with help and advice on this as well as other funding options.

Our Child Care team includes lawyers who are members of the Family Law panel, Children panel, BAAF and NAGALRO.
